12 March 2026

The 11th HSUHK Innovation Project Competition, organised by the Centre for Teaching and Learning, concluded with the Pitching Competition and Awards Presentation Ceremony on 12 March 2026. Seven finalist teams delivered their pitches to the judges during the event. Team Neon-Rhythm, comprising Wong Ting-yuen (BBA (Hons) in Marketing, Year 4) and Lee Sin-tung (BA (Hons) in Convergent Media and Communication Technology, Year 3) emerged as champions and received an Honourable Mention for Innovativeness.

This year’s theme, “Cultural Challenges in Hong Kong”, featured a series of workshops, seminars and site visits that helped students explore ways to bridge generational divides, revitalise intangible cultural practices, and advocate for the preservation of Hong Kong’s key heritage sites.

Since 2024, winners have been presented with the Martin Ka Shing Lee Innovation Awards, generously supported by Dr Martin Lee Ka-shing, Chairman of Henderson Land Group, through his commitment to fostering innovation, technology, and youth development.
