On 27 November 2025, Ms Becky Wong, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of INDEX GAME and INDEX ACADEMY, delivered a guest lecture for “SCOM Talk Series 56” organised by the School of Communication (SCOM).

Speaking on the theme “New Era of Media”, Ms Wong explored how emerging technologies are becoming powerful drivers of innovation in cultural content education and journalism amid global media convergence. She illustrated how Hong Kong enterprises are using AI and Web3 to support local brands, and shared practical models for cross-sector collaboration.

Ms Wong highlighted the essential skills for future media professionals, urging students to combine technology with creativity and tap into global resource networks to advance cultural exchange and content innovation. She encouraged them to master tools such as AI, Web3, XR, and interactive platforms, while blending international vision with local creativity to develop expertise in cross-sector integration and global collaboration.
