29 May 2025

The Big Data Intelligence Centre at the School of Decision Sciences (SDSC) at HSUHK hosted its first “Robotic Doggie Time Tracking Challenge” on 29 May 2025, highlighting the cutting-edge research in robotic dog development.

Comprised of students from different programmes offered at SDSC, seven teams of three to five students each, worked together to navigate their robot dogs through a track, with the best three out of five attempts determining their cumulative time. All participants received certificates, with trophies awarded for “Top Speed”, “Best Innovation”, and “Excellent Strategy”.
