A delegation from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) visited HSUHK’s  School of Communication (SCOM) on May 12 2023. Led by Professor Yang Li, Dean of the Graduate School, Professor Hou Yingzhong, Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication (SJC) and other representatives of GDUFS the delegation received a warm welcome from Professor Ronald Chiu, Associate Dean, Dr Howard Song, Dr James Chang, Dr Clio Wu and other representatives of SCOM.

Ways to deepen collaboration by launching joint training programmes, exchanges programmes for students and teachers, as well as offering customised courses were discussed. Professor Hou Yingzhong invited Professor Scarlet Tso, Dean of SCOM, to lead a delegation for a reciprocal visit to the SJC of GDUFS to further strengthen collaboration between the two Schools.

After the meeting, the delegation toured the various facilities of SCOM.
