The research paper titled “Scaling Digital Firms in Emerging Markets: Digital Detachment and Internationalisation”, co-authored by Professor Sam Park, Dean of the School of Business; Dr Li Qingwei, a new Assistant Professor at the Department of Management; and their counterpart at Nanyang Technological University, won the “Conference Theme Best Paper Award” at the International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR) 2025 Conference, held on 13 June in Xi’An.

IACMR is a scholarly association dedicated to the creation and dissemination of management knowledge with a focus on China. The IACMR Conference aims to provide a forum for scholars from around the world to present and learn about the latest management research in the Chinese context.
