7 February 2025
The 2024-25 academic year marks the 10th anniversary for The HSUHK Jockey Club Residential Colleges (RCs). To kick-off their anniversary celebrations, RCs organised a Bowl Feast on 7 February 2025 that was attended by 300 participants, including esteemed guests, alumni, and friends of the HSUHK community. Sincere gratitude was extended to Dr Patrick Poon, Patron of the Patrick S C Poon Amity College; community leaders from the RC Boards; as well as to representatives from sister universities.
Professor Jeanne Fu, Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience) stated that the RC’s 10th anniversary celebrations are a fantastic opportunity for residents, alumni, faculty, and staff to unite, reflect and anticipate all the exciting possibilities that lie ahead, including collaborations with residential colleges locally and regionally.
Throughout this year, the four RCs will be organising various activities to celebrate their 10th anniversary, including a drama performance (Lee Yick Hoi Lun Mosaic College), a relay run competition (S H Ho Wellness College), an alumni hiking event (Patrick S C Poon Amity College), a farm harvest event (Fung Yiu King Evergreen College), and a service-learning trip to Japan (Patrick S C Poon Amity College and Fung Yiu King Evergreen College). The RCs will also hold their Joint RCs High Table Dinner in April 2025.
