The Department of Social Science at HSUHK signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the School of Public Administration at South China Agricultural University (SCAU) in Guangzhou on 20 December 2024, signifying the start of mutual academic exchange and collaboration.
Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research); Professor Kao Lang, Head of the Department of Social Science; and the teaching team of the Master of Social Sciences in Public Policy and Risk Governance programme visited SCAU, and were warmly received by Professor Chen Letian, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Director of the Office of International Relations (Office for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs); Professor Tang Bin; and Professor Jia Haiwei, Dean and Associate Dean of the School of Public Administration, along with department heads and faculty representatives from SCAU.
The signing of MoU will deepen mutual academic exchange and collaboration in areas such as faculty and student interaction, admissions, seminars and conferences.
