HSUHK signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jiangxi University of Technology (JXUT) on 3 March 2025, launching a collaboration for international education between the two parties.

Initiated by Mr Man Cheuk-fei, Chief Executive Officer of Master Insight Media Limited, the JXUT delegation led by Professor Lu Wenwei, Vice-President, visited HSUHK and was received by Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research); Professor Jeanne Fu, Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience); and Dr Ken Yau, Head of Global Affairs.

In light of the Education Bureau’s recent announcement regarding the progressive easing of admission quotas for self-financing institutions for Mainland students, both parties engaged in an in-depth discussion on the framework for cooperation in talent cultivation and academic exchange to integrate and pair educational resources to maximise students’ academic horizons, and develop joint initiatives to enhance academic exchange in the fields of education and research in Hong Kong and Jiangxi.
