Eight distinguished scholars from HSUHK have been recognised among the latest Stanford University’s “World’s Top 2% Scientists” for the exceptional impact of their research across various fields. They are (in alphabetical order of surnames):

Professor Francis Chin, Adjunct Professor of the Department of Computer Science
Dr Kwong Ying-ho, Assistant Professor of the Department of Social Science
Dr Marco Lau, Adjunct Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance
Professor Tristan McCowan, Visiting Professor of the School of Transdisciplinary Studies
Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research)
Professor Sam Park, Dean of the School of Business
Professor Wong Wing-keung, Adjunct Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance
Compiled by Stanford University researchers, the list adopts a composite indicator based on standardised citation metrics, including total citations, the h-index (measuring scientific research output) and co-authorship, to rank leading scientists across diverse fields.
