Lo Hoi-chiu and Young Tik-yiu, year 3 students from the BA (Hons) in Psychology programme at HSUHK, were part of the team that won the Gold Prize in the tertiary education category of the “Gameplay Innovation Challenge 2025 – Heart Journey Board Game” competition organised by Hong Kong Red Cross on 22 August 2025. The competition encouraged youths to design a new gameplay for the board game “Heart Journey”, that would allow players to self-reflect and learn more about their emotions in an engaging manner. The HSUHK team competed with more than 20 other teams to win the gold prize with their board game design which focused on reducing negative emotions.
