28 April 2025
HSUHK held its annual Scholarship and Award Presentation Ceremony on 28 April 2025, celebrating outstanding student accomplishments and honouring donor generosity. In his welcome address, President Simon Ho expressed profound gratitude to donors for their HK$18 million contribution to scholarships and financial aid during the 2024-25 academic year. This funding has enabled transformative opportunities, including study programmes at world-renowned institutions such as the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, Harvard University, and the University of California, Berkeley, as well as global internships that prepare students for professional success.
Ho Tsz-ming (Year 4, BBA (Hons) in Supply Chain Management), recipient of the Paul S Lam Memorial Scholarship for Overseas Learning, shared his exchange experience in Finland via video. Mandy Zhang (Year 4, BBA (Hons) in General Business), a multiple scholarship awardee, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the donors on behalf of all awardees, acknowledging their generosity in creating these life-changing opportunities.
To express the University’s heartfelt appreciation, President Ho presented donors with a specially crafted miniature HSUHK campus model. The model, assembled by awardees, featured a scaled-down ceremony backdrop designed by Alice Ng (Year 2, BA (Hons) in Art and Design).
