9 January 2026
HSUHK extends its heartfelt gratitude to Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance Company Limited (CTF Life) for its generous support of the University. On 9 January 2026, an appreciation and naming ceremony was held to designate Room A301 in the S H Ho Academic Building as the “CTF Life Classroom”, recognising CTF Life’s unwavering commitment to education.
The ceremony was officiated by distinguished representatives from CTF Life, including Mr Ip Man-kit, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer; Ms Eleonore Chow, Chief Executive, Agency; Ms Fanny Chan, Chief Human Resources Officer; and Ms Bear Yip, Chief Business Development Officer. They were joined by Professor Simon Ho, President of HSUHK; and Professor Jeanne Fu, Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience). Guests from CTF Life as well as HSUHK faculty and staff joined the celebrations to mark this milestone partnership.
The newly named CTF Life Classroom is a modern, inviting and well-equipped learning space designed to inspire collaboration, study and meaningful connections among students and faculty. It embodies HSUHK’s unique “Liberal + Professional” education model, which integrates academic excellence with humanistic values, personal growth, and social responsibility in nurturing well-rounded future leaders.
The naming ceremony highlights the deep-rooted partnership between HSUHK and CTF Life, grounded in shared values of innovation, talent development and community commitment. Over the years, CTF Life has enriched students’ academic and professional journeys through generous scholarships and internship opportunities. In May 2025, the two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deliver specialised training and consultancy services for family offices and related practitioners across the Greater Bay Area, enabling professionals to seize cross-border opportunities and supporting Hong Kong’s role as a global financial and innovation hub.
