The Rotary Community Corps of Patrick S C Poon Amity College and the Service-Learning Section of the Centre for Teaching and Learning of HSUHK joined the Institute of Policy Studies, Lingnan University to serve elderly in Shatin on 18 August 2024. As a part of the celebratory activities of the 10th Anniversary of the Shatin Baptist Church Social Service Centre, the joint HSUHK and Lingnan team engaged with elderly to promote the use of gerontechnology for health and social care, and inter-generational communication of health and wellness. The event attracted around 200 participants to enjoy the activities of various booths and music performances presented by young people.
