Module Description
The aim of this module is to develop students’ understanding of real-life practices and operations in selected business sectors and organisations. It provides them with opportunities to polish their creativity and to apply their book knowledge in a practical sense. Students are required to take part in a full-time (minimum 50% of the basic required hours) or and if needed, continue as part-time employment within the first semester of Year 4 ONLY with at least in order to fulfil the minimum of 150 hours of working hours.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:

  1. acquire hands-on experiences on real-world working environment and understand professional practices in management science and information technology.

  2. apply analytical methods and information management knowledge onto the assigned duties.

  3. build spirit of teamwork and achieve work objectives together with team members.

  4. critically analyse problems and appropriately apply problem-solving concepts learnt to effectively resolve issues arise in the work place.

  5. build confidence and develop a stronger set of presentation and professional skills.
