The 8th International Conference on Decision Science and Management was held from 24 to 26 April at HSUHK. Hosted by the Big Data Intelligence Centre (BDIC) under the School of Decision Sciences, the event attracted global experts to discuss how data analytics, computer science, and business management are driving industry transformation.
Five distinguished keynote speakers shared insights bridging theory and practice, they are: Professor Madjid Tavana from La Salle University, USA; Professor Sam Kwong from Lingnan University, Hong Kong; Mr Toni Drescher, CEO of INC Innovation Centre Group, Germany; Professor Pornthipa Ongkunaruk from Kasetsart University, Thailand; and Professor Ujjwal Maulik from Jadavpur University, India.
Participants actively engaged in keynote sessions, paper presentations, poster sessions and workshops. The event concluded with the Best Paper Awards, recognising outstanding academic research and fostering global innovation in decision science and management.
