Supply Chain Management team secures first runner-up at CILTHK Student Day 2026 Competition

14 March 2026

In partnership with HSUHK, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong hosted its annual Student Day on 14 March 2026. Eight teams from various tertiary institutions across Hong Kong and Macao competed. Under tight time constraints, each team analysed a transport and logistics-related case and presented solutions to the judging panel.

The HSUHK team, comprised of students from the BBA (Hons) in Supply Chain Management programme—Chan Wai-man, Cheung Yee-tung, Fung Tat-shing, Hau Pui-yi, and Lee Sze-ki—delivered an outstanding presentation and analysis on the topic: “What phased development plan enables Hong Kong to become the international gateway for Greater Bay Area drone operations through vertiport certification, UTM interoperability, and leasing platforms?” and earned first runner-up.

Mentored by Dr Eugene Wong, Associate Professor in the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, and Dr Helen Ma, Associate Professor and Associate Head of the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, the team highlighted the strengths of HSUHK’s BBA-SCM programme in addressing innovative and forward-looking challenges.
