HSUHK celebrates teaching excellence at 2024-25 awards presentation

HSUHK honoured outstanding educators at the HSUHK Teaching Excellence Awards (2024-25) Presentation Ceremony, held on 29 January 2026. Nearly 1,000 HSUHK students, faculty and staff members attended the event.

After a rigorous selection process, four teachers were named 2024-25 award recipients. They are: Dr Andy Cheng, Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance, School of Business; Ms Chu Yau-mui, Part-time Lecturer in the Department of Chinese, School of Humanities and Social Science; Dr Valerie Tang, Assistant Professor in the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, School of Decision Sciences; and Dr Janice Wong, Lecturer in the School of Communication.

Professor Simon Ho, President of HSUHK, and Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) presented the awards, with Professor Jeanne Fu, Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience), presiding.

Established in the 2014-15 academic year, the Awards recognise faculty for exceptional teaching, pedagogical innovation, continuous improvement, and significant contributions to student learning.
