HSUHK students gain industry insights at Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference

18 November 2025

Over 40 HSUHK students participated in the 15th Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC) on 18 November 2025. The students attended a series of forums and workshops covering a wide range of topics, including port community systems, artificial intelligence in supply chains, the low-altitude economy, green energy, and youth empowerment. The experience helped them gain a deeper understanding of the future development of the supply chain industry and enabled them to plan and prepare for their future career development.

On the same occasion, Dr Eugene Wong, Associate Professor of the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management and Director of the Supply Chain Excellence and Innovation Centre at HSUHK, served as a moderator for the Youth Empowerment Workshop. Leaders from the DHL Express Central Asia Hub, Procter & Gamble Hong Kong, and Cathay Cargo shared their professional experiences and insights into career prospects and industry trends.

The international conference, jointly organised by HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, attracted over 2,300 industry and university participants from 46 countries and regions this year.
