HSUHK hosted the Presentation Ceremony for the Outstanding SME ESG and Business Performance Awards on 21 November 2025.

A total of 23 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) were recognised for their excellence in integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles with strong business performance. Seven companies received the Outstanding SME ESG Product Award, while 16 companies received the Outstanding SME ESG Service Award.

In his welcome address, President Simon Ho reaffirmed HSUHK’s commitment to cultivating responsible business leaders. He emphasised that true business success goes beyond profit — it encompasses accountability to shareholders, employees, society, and the environment.

Officiating guest Dr Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, praised HSUHK and its Start-up and SME Resource Centre for their leadership in promoting ESG awareness and education. He highlighted that a stable business environment, transparent corporate governance, and social harmony are essential to maintaining Hong Kong’s attractiveness as a global business hub.
