HSUHK students demonstrate passion and dedication at 15th National Games

17 November 2025

The 15th National Games officially kicked off last week. The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), in partnership with the Triathlon Association of Hong Kong China, deployed more than 30 students from this academic year’s Service-Learning programme to assist triathlon athletes representing 18 provinces nationwide.

Dedicated HSUHK students provided administrative support, handling tasks such as hotel check-ins and seamless transportation to and from the competition venues, ensuring that athletes could focus fully on performing at their best. Participating student, Lilian Lau, shared, “I am truly honoured to serve our athletes from across the nation and witness this grand sports event firsthand. This invaluable experience has deepened my appreciation for teamwork.”

By contributing to the Games, HSUHK students applied classroom knowledge in real-world settings, boosting their community engagement and understanding of major sports events.

Since 2019, HSUHK’s Service-Learning programme has partnered with local non-profits, enabling students to flexibly apply their skills, address community needs, and make meaningful societal contributions.
