4 September 2025
HSUHK held its Postgraduate Students Orientation Day on 4 September 2025 to welcoming over 760 postgraduate new students. Themed “Leading the Future, Beyond Imagination”, the University’s senior management team encouraged students to embrace innovation to excel in their academic and professional journeys.
President Simon Ho welcomed all new postgraduate students and emphasised the University’s commitment to nurturing future leaders and change-makers through holistic education. He encouraged students to face challenges head-on and actively engage in a variety of activities while integrating into the University’s innovative, supportive and vibrant academic community.
Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice President (Academic and Research) and Dean of the Graduate School, highlighted that the theme of this year’s orientation reflected the University’s belief that HSUHK’s postgraduate students can indeed shape the future.
The Graduate School also organised a Welcoming Fair, which featured key presentations from government departments, university support services and broader community organisations, to offer students practical resources and vital information on academic and personal success.
