The inauguration of the Holistic Wellness and Mental Health Hub, organised by the Institute of Knowledge Exchange (IKE) of HSUHK and Hong Kong Institute of Christian Counselors was held alongside the certificate presentation ceremony for Community Mental Health Ambassadors on 29 March 2025. The event aimed to promote holistic education, raise mental wellness awareness, and recognise individuals who are committed to mental health advocacy.
Dr John Leung, Associate Vice-President (Knowledge Exchange) and Director of IKE, delivered the opening speech, followed by Dr Eddy Lau, Co-Director of the Hub, who outlined the Hub’s vision and future services. A donation ceremony and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding highlighted cross-sector collaboration. Several psychology, medicine, and education professionals were also appointed as Hub Advisors to provide expert guidance.
The event concluded with the presentation of certificates to Community Mental Health Ambassadors, recognising their dedication and community work.
