2 January 2025 

HSUHK celebrated the beginning of 2025 with a flag-raising ceremony on 2 January, marking the inaugural event conducted by the newly established Student Flag-raising Group. The ceremony was attended by about 100 members of the HSUHK community, including senior management, staff, and both local and international students.

The 12-member Student Flag-raising Group was formed this academic year. Members have undergone training to take on responsibilities for flag-raising, flag-guarding, and emceeing in future flag-raising ceremonies.
