A delegation from the Shanghai Vancouver Film School of Shanghai University visited HSUHK on 22 July 2024. They were welcomed by President Simon Ho; Professor Hui Yer-van, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research); Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) Designate; Professor Tam Kwok-kan, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Science; and Dr Sobel Chan, Senior Lecturer of the School of Communication.
During the visit, the two parties discussed the possibilities of offering film, animation arts, and cinema-related programmes at HSUHK and explored collaboration opportunities between the two institutions.
