Jointly organized by the School of Communication and Alumni Affairs Office, the last talk of the BJC Talk Series has invited three honorable HSSC alumni, Mr. Alex Shiu, Ms. Eva Choi and Mr. Wayne Chu to be our guests. The theme of the sharing session was “Debate, Communication and Education”. The three guests have rich experience in participating in debate competitions and they are keen on debate education and coaching. Mr. Shiu, an experienced debate coach, shared with students the philosophy of debate and explained the importance of debate skills in achieving effective communication. After the presentation, the three guests had a chit chat session with two BJC Year 2 students, Sammi Cheng (President of Debating Society) and Koey Yu (Vice President of Debating Society). They explored the importance of learning debate skills for career development and interpersonal communication. Students had a vigorous discussion with the guests.
