    Terms of Reference

    The Executive Committee shall be subject to the terms of reference as follows:

    1. to consider matters as referred to it by the Board of Governors (“the Board”) including the making of decisions with power delegated by the Board as appropriate;

    2. to provide a forum for strategic planning and development of the University, formulation of proposals and review of major policies, inter alia, and to make recommendations to the Board where appropriate;

    3. to deal with items of business, which for reasons of routineness and/or urgency as agreed by the Board Chairman, cannot await to be resolved by the full Board, subject to reporting to the Board at the next available meeting; and

    4. to perform such other functions as may be assigned or delegated to it by the Board.
