HSMC Careers Mentorship Programme 2013-14 – Kick-Off Ceremony

Student Affairs Office took great pleasure in hosting the Kick-Off Ceremony of the HSMC Careers Mentorship Programme 2013-14 on 23 November 2013. Celebrating the 5th anniversary, we were delighted to receive the extensive support from corporate partners, alumni and friends over the years. This year, there were 43 business executives or head of corporations from a wide spectrum of industries joining our Mentorship Programme as careers mentors. They would provide guidance on business and career development for our 79 mentees, who would soon graduate and enter the employment market in one or two years.

 

The Ceremony signified a joyful and remarkable commencement of the 2013-14 Programme, as well as our ur best wishes to all the mentors and mentees for a rewarding and enjoyable mentoring experience in the year ahead.

 


Prof. Gilbert Fong (Acting President and Provost) conveyed his congratulations to the remarkable commencement of the 2013-14 Careers Mentorship Programme.

 

Mr. Samuel Law (Mentor) shared his experiences throughout the Mentorship Programme over the past four years. 

 


Mr. Kenneth Leung (Mentor), Ms. Jasmine Loong and Mr. Kenneth Wong (Mentees) shared their interactions and offered tips to participants with the topic of “Give and Take”.

 


Prof. Gilbert Fong (Acting President and Provost), Dr. Karen Chan (Vice President (Organizational Development)) and Prof. T.S. Lee (Vice-President (Academic and Research)) presented the appreciation certificates to the Mentors of 2012/13 Programme.

 

A networking session for mentors and mentees to mingle and kick start their mentoring journey.
