An organisation with best practices in corporate governance gives investors, suppliers, customers, employees and regulators the confidence that the organisation is being managed properly, and has sound checks and balances in place. Corporate governance also involves issues such as corporate social responsibility, sustainability, business ethics and risk management. We started the BBA (Honours) in Corporate Governance and Compliance in 2014 in response to the rising demand for corporate governance and compliance professionals in Hong Kong, one of the world’s major financial centres. We are actively approached by employers seeking to hire our students as interns and after graduation. Our graduates have been offered jobs in prestigious professional service firms, listed companies, and government or regulatory agencies. Some of our alumni have also been accepted for postgraduate studies, both in Hong Kong and overseas.
