Naming Ceremony of Dr and Mrs George So Classroom

Classroom D310, located in the Lee Quo Wei Academic Building at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), has been named “Dr and Mrs George So Classroom” in recognition of the generous support from Dr and Mrs George So.

Held on 31 October, the Naming Ceremony was officiated by Dr and Mrs So, together with President Simon S M Ho and Professor Y V Hui, Vice-President (Academic and Research).

In his welcome speech, President Ho conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to the philanthropic couple for their kind contribution to the University’s long-term development. With the continued endorsement of donors and friends of HSUHK, he believed that the University would undoubtedly gain momentum in its drive to attain new heights.

Dr So said during his remarks that he looked forward to further collaboration and mutual exchange with HSUHK in nurturing more talented young people for the community in the years to come.

Dr and Mrs George So Classroom serves as an excellent venue for tutorials as well as class and group discussions.
