Terms of Reference<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Finance Committee shall be subject to the terms of reference as follows:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To advise and recommend to the Board of Governors the long range financial planning for the University and all matters within the jurisdiction of the Board of Governors which have important financial implications;<\/li>\n
  2. To recommend to the Board of Governors the annual budget of the University including the estimates of the income and expenditure of the University before the beginning of the financial year;<\/li>\n
  3. To revise the annual budget of the University including the estimates of the income and expenditure of the University during the course of the financial year, if appropriate;<\/li>\n
  4. To oversee the preparation of the annual year-end financial statements of the University;<\/li>\n
  5. To oversee the formulation and review the investment policies and strategies, including borrowing of monies for the objects of the University, appointment of fund managers, and monitor the performance of fund managers and investment;<\/li>\n
  6. To oversee the financial management policies and procedures of the University and to monitor their effectiveness; and<\/li>\n
  7.
