Terms of Reference<\/strong><\/p>

Without limiting the generality of the powers of the Board of Governors under the Articles of Association, the Board of Governors shall be subject to the terms of reference as follows:<\/p>

  1. to exercise control of the purposes and functions of the University as the supreme governing body;<\/p><\/li>

  2. to set out the overall broad direction and policy of the University and oversee the University operations according to this direction;<\/p><\/li>

  3. to exercise control regarding approval and allocation of financial resources to the University, acquisition and disposal of the property and capital assets of the University;<\/p><\/li>

  4. to ensure that the University\u2019s allocated resources are managed effectively and that the quality of its work is assured;<\/p><\/li>

  5. to ensure that the education of the students is pursued according to its missions and goals and leads to the outcomes desired;<\/p><\/li>

  6. to ensure that the Ordinance and the Constitution under which the University is operating is complied with; and<\/p><\/li>

  7. to make appointments of key officials of the University as it thinks proper; and<\/p><\/li>
