The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) has announced that applications are now open for the 15th Junzi Corporation Project. This flagship initiative\u00a0invites Hong Kong-based companies to participate in promoting\u00a0business ethics and social responsibility. Inspired\u00a0by the \u201cJunzi\u201d character and its five virtues:\u00a0Ren (Benevolence), Yi (Righteousness), Li (Propriety), Zhi (Wisdom), and Xin (Trustworthiness) \u2013 the Project continues to serve as an ethical compass for organisations in pursuing sustainable growth\u00a0and building long-term trust with stakeholders.<\/p>

Since 2011, HSUHK has conducted the annual Junzi Corporation Survey and presented the Junzi Corporation Awards to recognise enterprises that uphold high ethical standards while achieving\u00a0profitable and sustainable operations. Celebrating\u00a0its 15th year, the Project has garnered strong support from enterprises of various sizes and steadily expanded its influence. This year, it\u00a0is supported by esteemed\u00a0partners including the Chief Happiness Officer Association, Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre, Cyberport and the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, all working together to promote\u00a0ethical business practices.<\/p>

In addition to the existing \u201cJunzi Corporation Award\u201d and \u201cJunzi Corporation Award (Small and Medium Enterprise)\u201d, two new\u00a0award\u00a0categories have been introduced to honour organisations that generate\u00a0social impact and serve the community through value-driven efforts, namely the \u201cSocial Enterprise\u201d and \u201cCharitable Organisation\u201d categories.<\/p>

To coincide\u00a0with the 15th Junzi Corporation Project, the organising committee will host\u00a0the \u201cForum on Responsible AI and Cybersecurity\u201d on 5 March 2026. The event will explore how ethical principles can guide the development of emerging technologies\u00a0and\u00a0will feature themed presentations, a panel discussion, a\u00a0live\u00a0AI showcase tour and networking opportunities. Interested participants are encouraged to register through\u00a0the designated online registration link.<\/p>
