The three recipients are: Ms Stella Fung Siu-wan, a renowned business leader; Mr Alan Li Pui-leung, a prominent industrialist; and Mr Lim Soon-tiong, an eminent entrepreneur. The Honorary University Fellowship Conferment Ceremony will be held on 25 March 2026.<\/p><p>The biographies of the three Honorary University Fellows are as follows:\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Ms Stella Fung<\/strong><strong> Siu-wan<\/strong><\/p><p>Ms Stella Fung Siu-wan is a distinguished leader in the business sector. With over three decades of experience in financial banking in Hong Kong, she served as the Executive Director and General Manager of Dao Heng Securities Limited and Dao Heng Commodities Limited. In 2004, she established the Fook Ming Tong Chinese Medical Centre, which later partnered with Beijing Tong Ren Tang to provide professional Chinese medicine services to the community.<\/p><p>Throughout her career, Ms Fung has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to social responsibility and community service. She has served as Director of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals; Member of the Hospital Governing Committee for North District Hospital and is currently serving as Permanent Honorary President of the Hong Kong Shine Tak Foundation; Chairman of the Human Resources Sub-committee at North District Hospital; Advisory Committee member for the School of Business at Hong Kong Baptist University; and International Ambassador for the Gyalyum Charitable Trust in Bhutan.\u00a0 She was awarded a Doctor of Management degree by Lincoln University in 2014 and received the Ernst &amp; Young Entrepreneurial Winning Women\u2122 Asia-Pacific award in 2015.<\/p><p>Ms Fung has consistently supported HSUHK\u2019s development by donating to the \u201cHSUHK FunD Run\u201d, construction project of the Creative Humanities Hub, the \u201cUniquely Common\u201d Concert, and the Strategic Campus Development Fund. Her exceptional commitment and vision have been recognised through her appointments as Honorary Vice-Chairman of the HSUHK \u2013 Foundation in 2018 and Honorary Chairman in 2023. Since May 2024, she has served on the Fundraising and Donation Committee, offering strategic counsel and leveraging her extensive networks to advance the University\u2019s future strategic development. To express appreciation for Ms Fung\u2019s generous contributions, the University has named the 24-hour study area located at the G\/F of the University Library of S H Ho Academic Building on the North Campus as the \u201cStella Fung Siu Wan Space For All\u201d, providing students with a dedicated space for self\u2011study and revision.<\/p><p><strong>Mr Alan <\/strong><strong>L<\/strong><strong>i<\/strong><strong> Pui<\/strong><strong>-l<\/strong><strong>eung<\/strong><\/p><p>Mr Alan Li Pui-leung is a distinguished industrialist who founded TK Group (Holdings) Ltd in 1983 and is currently its Chairman and Executive Director, guiding the company\u2019s steady and sustainable growth. While deeply rooted in the business world, Mr Li has also been actively engaged in public service. His roles include Honorary President of the Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council; Member of the Area Committee (Kai Tak), Kowloon City District of the Home Affairs Department of the HKSAR; Executive Vice-Chairman of the Kowloon City District Development Caring Fund Limited; <span data-teams=\"true\">Member of Kowloon City District Youth Network Advisory Committee, Kowloon City District of the Home Affairs Department; <\/span>Chairman (President) of the Shenzhen Guangming Area Industry and Commerce Federation (General Chamber of Commerce); the Honorary President of Kowloon City District Junior Police Call; Chairman of the \u201cHong Kong Students\u2019 Visit to Hong Kong \u2014 Pearl River Delta Industries\u201d Programme; Honorary Affiliated Club President (Basketball and Dragon Boat) of the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department Sports and Recreation Club; and Founding Chairman of the Hong Kong Pok Low Association Group Limited, among others. He has made sustained and significant contributions to community development, public welfare, and charitable initiatives.<\/p><p>As a staunch supporter of youth development, Mr Li firmly believes in the philosophy of \u201cshared development and mutual enhancement\u201d. He is dedicated to fostering integration among young people in the Greater Bay Area, as well as promoting industrial development and philanthropic initiatives. Numerous exchange programmes have been organised under his guidance, cultivating a global perspective among cross-border youth and equipping them with a strong sense of social responsibility and innovation. He has also facilitated collaborations among government, academia, and industry to provide vocational training, internships, and seminars, enabling young people to realise their potential and establish a solid foundation for their careers. From 2020 to 2023, Mr Li mobilised 300 Hong Kong youths for exchange programmes in Huizhou through the Hong Kong Boluo Fellow Townsmen Association; in addition, he, together with the Shenzhen Guangming New Area Industry and Commerce Federation, raised and donated over HK$10 million to support the impoverished communities affected by the pandemic, demonstrating his commitment to social responsibility through concrete action.<\/p><p>Mr Li has been actively supporting HSUHK\u2019s development. In addition to serving as the Honorary Vice-Chairman of the HSUHK\u2013Foundation, he has also strongly supported various university initiatives and campus development projects, including the 2019 \u201cHSUHK FunD Run\u201d and the \u201cUniquely Common\u201d Concerts in 2023 and 2025. Over the years, Mr Li\u2019s outstanding contributions to society have been widely recognised, including the \u201cHong Kong Young Industrialist Award\u201d in 2003, the \u201cOutstanding Person of Shenzhen Machinery Industry\u201d in 2004, and the \u201cShenzhen Person of the Year\u201d by Southern Metropolitan Daily in 2013. In 2024, he was awarded the \u201cHong Kong Mould and Die Industry Distinguished Achievement Award\u201d, and in 2025, he was awarded the Medal of Honour by the HKSAR Government and the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 \u2013 Hong Kong\/Macau. These awards underscore his exceptional achievements and integrity within the community.<\/p><p><strong>Mr Lim Soon-tiong<\/strong><\/p><p>Born in Malaysia, Mr Lim Soon-tiong is the Chairman of A &amp; W Food Service Hong Kong Limited and a seasoned business leader. Under his leadership, the company has evolved from a small juice factory into a leading food and beverage enterprise with branches in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Macau, Shanghai, Singapore, and Malaysia. The company was the first in Hong Kong to produce bottled fresh fruit juice, supplying freshly pressed orange juice made with advanced extraction technology. It has also developed a wide range of juice products and acts as a distributor for other imported beverages, including milk and mineral water. Mr Lim served as Chairman of the Chinese Executives Club of the Hong Kong Management Association from 1982 to 1984, promoting modernisation of business management.<\/p><p>Mr Lim earned his undergraduate degree in accountancy from Nanyang University in Singapore in 1962. After graduation, he joined the Lam Soon Group in Singapore and was later deployed to Hong Kong to spearhead business development. He was subsequently promoted to general manager and successfully led Lam Soon Group\u2019s listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Mr Lim later established his own business and, after achieving notable success, dedicated himself to philanthropy, especially supporting cultural and educational initiatives within the Malaysian Chinese community. Since 2016, he has been the sole sponsor of cultural exchange programmes for students in Hong Kong and Malaysia, organised respectively by The Chinese University of Hong Kong and HSUHK, in collaboration with three Malaysian Chinese universities. To date, these programmes have been held seven times, benefiting nearly 300 students from both regions. He also serves as an Honorary Director of the HSUHK \u2013 Foundation.<\/p><p>Mr Lim is known as the \u201cAnak Taiping\u201d by the Malaysian Chinese community for his long-term contributions and commitment to Taiping. In the Chinese Mainland, he co-founded a scholarship programme with like-minded friends to provide financial assistance to outstanding secondary students to attend university each year \u2013 a commitment sustained for 30 years, benefiting more than 100 students. He was awarded an honorary certificate from the Xinyi Municipal Government of Gaozhou, Guangdong Province in recognition of his act of kindness. Mr Lim is also recognised as an Honorary Citizen of Zengcheng, Guangdong.\u00a0<\/p><p><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section
