The HSUHK Jockey Club Residential Colleges, namely Lee Yick Hoi Lun Mosaic College; S H Ho Wellness College; Patrick S C Poon Amity College; and Fung Yiu King Evergreen College, joined the Residential College Alliance at the \u201c10th Forum on Modern College Education in Universities across Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao\u201d held at Xi\u2019an Jiaotong University from 27 to 29 June 2025. HSUHK is the second university in Hong Kong to join the Alliance.<\/p>

During the \u201coral defense\u201d session, representatives from the four HSUHK Residential Colleges highlighted the University\u2019s unique \u201cliberal + professional\u201d education model, and its residential college system that combines living and learning with features such as college communal dining and college theme-based credit-bearing courses, to fully demonstrate the University\u2019s educational philosophy and development model for the four Residential Colleges. Joining the Residential College Alliance marks a significant milestone for HSUHK Jockey Club Residential Colleges in its pursuit of a modern college education model.<\/p>

The Residential College Alliance was initiated and established by Renzhong College of Fudan University; Mengxiancheng College of East China Normal University; Wenzhi College of Xi\u2019an Jiaotong University; Zhixing College of Beihang University; United College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong; Houde College of Tsing Hua University from Taiwan; and Chengchi College of Chengchi University from Taiwan. Members of the Alliance will actively participate in exchanges and explore the reformation and development of the college education model, enhance the standard of college operations, education quality and social reputation of each alliance member, as well as contribute to the growth of innovative and all-round talent.<\/p>
