{"id":67756,"date":"2025-03-13T18:07:37","date_gmt":"2025-03-13T10:07:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hsu.edu.hk\/?p=67756"},"modified":"2025-03-24T11:44:12","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T03:44:12","slug":"hsuhk-launches-junzi-corporation-awards-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hsu.edu.hk\/en\/hsuhk-launches-junzi-corporation-awards-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"HSUHK launches Junzi Corporation Awards 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"67756\" class=\"elementor elementor-67756\" data-elementor-settings=\"[]\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-section-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-08fe32d elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"08fe32d\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-464c7f5\" data-id=\"464c7f5\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-99c3c7d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"99c3c7d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p><\/p><p><strong>13 March 2025\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p>HSUHK\u2019s School of Business hosted the Junzi Corporation Awards Project 2025 Launching Ceremony cum Business Leaders Forum on 13 March 2025.<\/p><p>In his opening remarks, President Simon Ho highlighted that the Junzi Corporation Awards Project embodies HSUHK\u2019s dedication to promoting ethical practices, thereby contributing to the building of a harmonious society.<\/p><p>Several awards, including the \u201cJunzi Corporation Award\u201d, \u201cJunzi Corporation Award (Small and Medium Enterprises)\u201d, \u201cJunzi Corporation Award For Exemplary Business Practices\u201d, as well as the newly added \u201cThe Hang Seng University of Hong Kong 45th Anniversary Special Junzi Corporation Award\u201d to celebrate the University\u2019s 45th Anniversary, will be presented this year.<\/p><p>At the Business Leaders Forum held alongside the Junzi Launching Ceremony, Mr Ricky Lam, Associate Dean (Enterprise and Business Engagement) of the School of Business at HSUHK, along with guest speakers including Dr June Leung, Founder and Chairperson of Beacon Group who is also the Honorary Advisor of the Chief Happiness Officer Association; Ms Elaine Wang, Adjunct Professor of the Department of Management at the School of Business at HSUHK; and Ms Raina Yeung, Honorary Fellow of the Centre for Civil Society and Governance at the University of Hong Kong, shared their insights on \u201cHow Technology and New Workplace Culture Impact Business Ethical Values\u201d.<\/p><p>HSUHK promotes the concept of the \u201cJunzi\u201d character and its five virtues of \u201cRen (benevolence)\u201d, \u201cYi (righteousness)\u201d, \u201cLi (propriety)\u201d, \u201cZhi (wisdom)\u201d, and \u201cXin (trustworthiness)\u201d, as a yardstick to measure the ethical levels of businesses.
