The Honours Academy (HA) held its Inauguration Ceremony for the 4<\/span>th<\/span> cohort on 20 October 2023. This <\/span>occasion marked the official induction of <\/span>16 aspiring new students, with the University management, Professional and Academic Fellows, faculty members, staff and parents in attendance.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Taking the stage, the HA students led an engaging programme, from the traditional pinning ceremony<\/span> and <\/span>cohort-to-cohort gifting, to a highly energetic <\/span>musical <\/span>performance <\/span>with the<\/span> message <\/span>\u201cWe are all in this together\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

To honour their generous contribution, HA\u2019s Professional and Academic Fellows were invited to participate in a symbolic \u201cgrow a starry tree\u201d ceremony, adorning the stage with golden stars that represent their support and blessings to the new cohort. Council Chairman Dr the Hon Moses Cheng and President Ho also encouraged HA students to create positive impact<\/span>s<\/span> in society <\/span>by <\/span>embracing service leadership. The ceremony concluded with a <\/span>tea reception where the <\/span>newest members of<\/span> the<\/span> HA family celebrated the beginning of their three-year interdisciplinary HA journey<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
