The School of Communication held the 11th Academic Salon. Professor Peter Hutchings, Dean of School of Humanities and Communication Arts, Western Sydney University was invited to the salon themed \u201cCreative Industries: New Cultural and Pedagogic Paradigms\u201d.<\/p>\n

Professor Hutchings introduced the development and influence of creative industries in Australia. He also shared his research on the characteristics of creative cities. Professor Hutchings and the professors of the School of Communication discussed different pedagogical methods and the feasibility of integrating the creative media studies and communication studies.<\/p>\n

The salon has facilitated the improvement of teaching methods and quality between Professor Peter Hutching and professors of the School of Communication.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
