22 February 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to broaden students\u2019 horizon and cultivate their sense of social development, 20 students of School of Communication (SCOM),accompanied by 4 academic staff, Professor Trevor Siu, Dr Keith Cheung, Ms Glacial Cheng and Ms Eileen Chua, visited the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (the Park) on 22 February 2017.<\/p>\n

The SCOM teaching staff and students were given a Science Explorer Tour about the latest development of science and technology. They visited \u201cProfessor Charles K. Kao: Father of Fibre Optics Communication\u201dshowcase, Green Trail and Green Concepts @ Green 18, to learn the application and development of fibre optics, as well as other green and sustainable technology.<\/p>\n

They also experienced a fun-filled exploration inside thePark. Students expressed that they had learnt a lot about the knowledge of environmental protection and innovation through this tour.<\/p>\n
