{"id":5611,"date":"2017-01-24T10:55:20","date_gmt":"2017-01-24T04:55:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hsu.edu.hk\/?p=5611"},"modified":"2024-01-16T11:59:05","modified_gmt":"2024-01-16T03:59:05","slug":"1672-comp-20170124105854","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hsu.edu.hk\/en\/1672-comp-20170124105854\/","title":{"rendered":"HSMC Computing Cup Mobile App Design Competition \u2013 Calling for Applications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"art-article\">\n<p><strong>24 January 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\">To promote Technology Education (as part of STEM education) in Hong Kong secondary schools, enhance and train students\u2019 problem-solving skills using programming, as well as promote human-centred computing, the Department of Computing of HSMC, Broad Learning Education (Asia) Limited and The Hong Kong Association for Computer Education will co-organise the \u201cHSMC Computing Cup Mobile App Design Competition\u201d with the theme of creating an \u201cIntelligent Timetabling App\u201d. The competition will test the problem solving and design skills of the teams. An official homepage for the \u201cHSMC Computing Cup\u201d, <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/computing-cup.hsmc.edu.hk\/en\/frontpage\/\">https:\/\/computing-cup.hsmc.edu.hk\/en\/frontpage\/<\/a><\/span><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\">, has been set up to accept applications from now until 3 March 2017.
