Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) congratulates two BBA students on winning Silver Medal Awards at the \u201cChuang Qing Chun\u201d National Entrepreneurship Competition 2016 (\u300c\u5275\u9752\u6625\u300d\u5168\u570b\u5927\u5b78\u751f\u5275\u696d\u5927\u8cfd2016) inrecognition of their outstanding performance.<\/p>\n

The \u201cChuang QingChun\u201d National Entrepreneurship Competition, renowned as the inter-college \u201cOlympic Games\u201d in its field in China, had nominated impressive proposals out of the 110,000 preliminary entries from over 2,200 nation-wide institutions for the final contest.<\/p>\n

Mr LO Wai Hong Aresand Mr MOK Ka Chun Ian, BBA Year 3 and Year 4 students respectively, teamed up as a finalist with their business proposal \u201cHouse Cook\u201d (\u300c\u5c4b\u716e\u300d).\u00a0From 15 to 20 November 2016, they stepped into the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in Sichuan, competing with the 399 distinguished entries from 220 institutions.<\/p>\n

\u201cHouse Cook\u201d (\u300c\u5c4b\u716e\u300d) is a mobile application which pairs upcooks and on-site cooking services, striving for business on the concept of sharing economy.\u00a0 This serves as a platform for customers to choose ideal cooks and cuisines while the designated cooks would provide all-round services including preparation of ingredients, cooking and cleaning-up.<\/p>\n

After days of exhibitions and presentations, Ares and Ian won panel appreciation towards their innovative proposal which finally earned them the Silver Medal Awards under the Business Proposal Category.\u00a0 In recognition of their extraordinary idea on integrating technology and services,the award is as an essential milestone on their road to entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n
