The School of Business of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) recently obtained the AACSB International (AACSB) accreditation. HSUHK is the first self-financed university in Hong Kong to earn this international and professional accreditation, which recognises HSUHK\u2019s outstanding development in business education.<\/p>

The AACSB review committee recognises institutions that demonstrate a focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curriculum development, and student learning. The committee also acknowledges HSUHK\u2019s commitment in earning its accreditation, as it reflects the University\u2019s dedication towards students, alumni, the larger business community, and the overall higher education sector. Stephanie M Bryant, Executive Vice President and Chief Accreditation Officer of AACSB said \u201cToday\u2019s students are tomorrow\u2019s business leaders, and the addition of the School of Business of HSUHK to the network of AACSB-accredited business schools will have a lasting positive impact for their institution, both locally and globally.\u201d<\/p>

Professor Simon S M Ho, President of HSUHK, is delighted to see its School of Business receives this international accreditation, and says \u201cHSUHK is committed to benchmarking itself against the highest international standards. Obtaining accreditation as the first-ever self-financed university in Hong Kong is full recognition of the quality of our teaching programmes and research. HSUHK will continue to uphold its unique \u2018Liberal + Professional\u2019 education model, and provide students with innovative business education as we keep abreast of the times. Our faculty team will also proactively and continuously improve the teaching and research quality to help students unleash their potentials and nurture them to become future business leaders.\u201d<\/p>

Professor Bradley Barnes, Dean of the School of Business of HSUHK, said that their faculty team was further encouraged by obtaining the accreditation, \u201cThe AACSB accreditation provides us with the deserved recognition of our outstanding teaching quality. I wish to congratulate my amazing staff for their continued commitment on this five-year journey of preparation. Over this period, along with our colleagues, we have helped transform the School from a humble management college into probably Hong Kong\u2019s most popular and fastest growing university business school. With our concerted effort, HSUHK is also listed 18th in the \u2018Best Business and Management Universities in China 2023\u2019 assessment, as announced by the leading academic research portal Research.com.\u201d<\/p>
