19 March 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 4th Career Teachers\u2019 Day organised by the Registry was held successfully on 19 March, 2016 (Saturday) withthe aim of enhancing secondary school teachers\u2019 understanding of the latestdevelopment of HSMC and its student life.\u00a0It is also a precious opportunity to gather and interact with teachersfrom different secondary schools.<\/p>\n

President Simon S M Ho kicked off the event and extended the College\u2019s heartfelt gratitude to the teachers for their keen support to HSMC. He also shared the future plans as well as the campus expansion scheme. Dr Eugenia Ng, College Registrar, also thanked the teachers for their support and participation in the activities held by the Registry throughout the year.<\/p>\n

In addition, the latest admission information and four newly launched programmes: Master of Arts in Translation (Business and Legal), Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Convergent Media and Communication Technology, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Applied and Human-Centred Computing and Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Asian Studies were introduced during the event.<\/p>\n

Ms Yoyo Lee, a BJC Year 4 student, was invited to share her internship experience earned during her study at HSMC, which allowed the participants to have a glimpse of the diversified and amazing college life of HSMC students.<\/p>\n

The HSMC\u2019s study environment and HSMC Jockey Club Residential Colleges were showcased to the participating teachers during the campus tours guided by Student Ambassadors. \u00a0Through the face-to-face communication between HSMC staff and the participants, it is hoped that the teachers would be impressed by HSMC\u2019s unique \u201cLiberal + Professional\u201d education ideal.<\/p>\n
