25 November 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

A series of mock press conferences by the students of TRA 3103 Public Relations Translation was successfully held at Fung Yiu King Hall on 25 November 2015.<\/p>\n

There were altogether 4 groups of students presenting at the mock press conferences. The interesting topics were: cooking contest, Frozen Restaurant, new Disney attraction, cultural, vocational and tactile experience centre. During the preparation, students went through a real process of organising a press conference, including conducting a comprehensive research and preparing proposals, drafting bilingual press kits, making props and so on. Some of the students acted as reporters and raised questions during Q&A sessions.<\/p>\n

After the mock press conferences, students can apply the theories to actual practice, which will enhance their skills in producing effective communication materials in business context and improve their business communication skills. These experiences were inspiring to both the professors and students.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
