With the leading theme of \u2018Smart Campus\u2019 at the HSUHK Innovation Project Competition 2023, the Centre for Teaching and Learning CTL was honoured to have senior management from our University keep our students informed and updated with the development and future directions in the areas of Campus Development and Management and Information Technology (IT). Ir Kelvin Lin Chun-ming, , Director of Campus Development and Management, focused on the various needs and expectations of campus services as HSUHK continues to develop. It was educational for our students to address the current gaps in areas such as lift use, car parking, catering seating, and space use. In a systematic and captivating way, Mr Delon Wong Yat-cheung, , Associate Director of Information Technology, explained how we can apply \u201cABCD\u201d in our daily lives as well as in teaching and learning: \u2018A\u2019 for\u00a0 \u2018Artificial Intelligence\u2019, \u2018B\u2019 for \u2018Blockchain\u2019,’ \u2018C\u2019 for \u2018Cloud Computing\u2019, and \u2018D\u2019 for Big Data. Mr Wong wrapped up the talk with some words of wisdom: \u201cStart small; Think big.\u201d<\/p>

Over 50 students and staff from different departments and units tremendously benefited from the talks at the Competition.<\/p>
