Professor Cheung Kwong Yue, the Department Head and theDirector of the Programme, gave a welcoming speech to all students, encouragingthem to pursue a path of self-cultivation both academically and morally, and adheringto the principle of \u201cmoral refinement and learning dedication.\u201d Teachers of theDepartment also introduced the programme details to the students and hosted atour of the Institute for Chinese Language and Culture to inform them of thelearning support available on campus.
