Academic Retreat 2014\/15, School of Business<\/strong><\/p>\n

TheAcademic Retreat 2014\/15, with a wish to shar<\/span>e<\/span> long-term developmentin educational goals and expertise among teaching staff from School ofBusiness, was successfully held<\/span> at the Regal Riverside Hotel <\/span>on 19 June 2015. Over30 academic staff participated in the Academic Retreat.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n


<\/span><\/p>\n

After the<\/span> buffet lunch, <\/span>a<\/span>cademic staff formed groupsto discuss specific topics and share their views on School Academic Plan, Key <\/span>P<\/span>rofileIndicators, Academic Programmes Development, Research Development andinternational and local accreditation such as the Association to AdvanceCollegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and Programme Area Accreditation (PAA). <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n


<\/span><\/p>\n

Tofacilitate interaction, each group was invited to give a presentation afterdiscussion, while the participants listened attentively and acknowledgedothers\u2019 opinions.  <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n


<\/span><\/p>\n

Itwas a pleasure to see that the Retreat has served as a great platform foracademic staff <\/span>to<\/span>exchange their views and participants have spent a fruitful and relaxingFriday. <\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
