People with disabilities, of different ages, different colors and different cultures can live and learn together, built on our mutual respect, acceptance and tolerance. According to the United Nations\u2019s \u201cThe Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities\u201d, disability is an evolving concept and the social participation of the disables is often affected by public attitudes and environmental barriers.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Therefore, the concept of &#8220;disability&#8221; can evolve together with our ever-changing social environment and our mindset. .<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This workshop aims to help transform\u00a0 The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong into a model of\u00a0 promoting &#8220;inclusiveness of disabilities&#8221;in the higher education sector in Hong Kong. She has over 20 years of clinical experience in the areas of child assessment, psychiatric inpatient and outpatient hospitals, university counseling centres. In addition to the practice of psychotherapy, Josanna has been active in teaching, and supervising master clinical psychology students as well as conducting workshops.<\/span><\/p><ol start=\"2\"><li><b> Mr Ivan Lam,\u00a0 Hong Kong PHAB Association, PHAB Institute Manager<\/b><\/li><\/ol><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Registered social worker with more than 15 years of social work experience. Ivan Lam is responsible for management and service development in different service areas such as rehabilitation services. Currently, Ivan is committed to promoting the concept of PHAB Integration, advocating the inclusiveness of persons with disabilities.<\/span><\/p><ol start=\"3\"><li><b> Mr Andy Ko, Hong Kong PHAB Association, PHAB InstituteTrainer<\/b><\/li><\/ol><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Andy Ko suffers from congenital spina bifida, due to a bacterial infection, and he has been a wheelchair user ever since. Andy is now committed to promoting the concept of PHAB integration and a Barrier-free environment. In 2016, Andy was selected as a Regenerative Warrior \u201d. Andy is currently a member of the Accessibility Working Group of the Rehabilitation Advisory Committee of the Labour and Welfare Bureau, he is also a member of the Working Group on Access to Public Transport by People with Disabilities.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All academic staff are welcome to join!
