In appreciation of the generous donation from Ms Stella Fung Siu Wan in support of the construction of a new Academic Building and long-term development of the University, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) held the Naming Ceremony of \u201cStella Fung Siu Wan Space For All\u201d on 12 January 2023. Officiating at the ceremony were Ms Stella Fung Siu Wan, Managing Director of Beijing Tong Ren Tang Fook Ming Tong Chinese Medical Center; Dr Patrick Poon, Chairman of Fundraising and Donation Committee and HSUHK – Foundation Management Committee; and President Professor Simon S. M. Ho.<\/p>

In his welcome remarks, President Ho conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to Ms Stella Fung for her recognition and encouragement. HSUHK will continue to nurture outstanding talents for the community through our unique “Liberal + Professional\u201d education model and fully support students’ all-round learning so that they can realise their potential, broaden their horizons and live a wonderful life.<\/p>

Ms Stella Fung recognised HSUHK\u2019s educational philosophy and commended the University for actively promoting the development of higher education in Hong Kong, providing many opportunities for students to develop their talents, enriching their learning experience and enabling them to realise their dreams.<\/p>

Stella Fung Siu Wan Space For All is located at the Library on the ground floor of S H Ho Academic Building on the North Campus. Enjoying beautiful scenery through windows, Space for All\u2019s furniture and equipment is flexible for different kinds of activities. It is also a 24-hour study area for students\u2019 work and revision.<\/p>
