Spring Sonata by Professor Vadim Mazo & Dr Cheng Wai<\/strong><\/p>\n

Arts at HSMC\u2019s first classical musicconcert\u00a0Spring Sonata\u00a0took place on 14 April 2015 at theAuditorium.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Professor Vadim Mazo, world renownedviolinist and\u00a0Associate Professor of Violin and Viola at Illinois WesleyanUniversity, together with Dr Cheng Wai, winner of the Hong Kong Young MusicPerformer Award of the International Year of Youth, brought tolife\u00a0classical music\u00a0masterpieces by Beethoven, Shostakovich andCesar Franck.\u00a0\u00a0An introduction to classical music and themasterpieces was given by Professor Stephen D Press, Associate Professor ofMusic at Illinois Wesleyan University. The audience was simply fascinated by the impeccableperformance of the evening.<\/p>\n
