Workshop Series in Applied Statistics \u2013 Time Series and Life Data Analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Department ofMathematics and Statistics held the fifth day of the Workshop Series in AppliedStatistics on 28 March 2015. The theme of the day was \u201cTime Series and LifeData Analysis\u201d. The Department invited Professor Heung Wong, Professor, The HongKong Polytechnic, Professor Narayanaswamy Balakrishnan, Professor, McMasterUniversity, Dr Tony Ng, Associate Professor, Southern Methodist University and DrBen Chan, Associate Professor, The Chinese University of Hong Kong to be theguest speakers of the event. They shared their recent research in time seriesand life data with the audience. The participants acquired up-to-date knowledgein Applied Statistics from their presentations.<\/p>\n
